Drama, Ongoing, ~75 episodes out, Long episodes, Updates Tuesdays
Note: FL = female lead, ML = male lead
This is currently my favorite webtoon 😀
If you like pretty characters, confident characters, and hating awful characters, this webtoon is for you!
Webtoon’s synopsis: All’s fair in love and war. Two couples will need to battle it out for love and money! But who knew they’d swap partners before doing so. Taerin and Ju-a are both friends and studying fashion at the same university. So why is Ju-a going on a couple’s show with Taerin’s boyfriend? And why is Taerin going on the same show with Ju-a’s boyfriend?!

Art: I personally like the artstyle. Sometimes webtoon art can be too disproportionate or just unappealing, which discourages me from reading past the first chapter. But this art perfectly captures the essence of characters and the areas they have to flaunt. Time, care, and effort is evident in every panel of this webtoon.
Characters: Taerin’s (the FL) appeal lies in her confidence and fashion. The ML is more on the quiet side, but his worth lies in his loyalty and concern with his partners. Each character is visually distinctive and has their own charms, which makes them realistic and subsequently relatable or hateable. The reader can easily identify the pathetic characters, and the tension between them and the leads feels deserved and satisfying, which constitutes a good reading experience.
Story: I do think the first season is more interesting than the second season since the first season establishes everything and puts the characters in fun scenarios, while the second season has less interesting scenes, focuses more on the realization of love between the ML and FL and plots within the side characters. Nonetheless, I feel intrigued and want to keep reading after every new episode.
Favorite episodes:
Episode 12 – Transformation: The FL and ML conflict over an idea to get revenge over their exes. Their banter is entertaining, and their charms and quirks are evident.
Episode 13 – Interview: It’s fun watching them struggle to act and look like a genuine couple. Also, I love when the leads are drawn full-body and detailed! The art really contributes to the impact they have on others based on their appearance. The ML’s bluntness is also really funny.

Don’t they look so cool here? Isn’t the art scrum-diddly-umptious? More of this if you read the whole thing!
I’m rereading these episodes right now and wow do they keep me hooked!
Episode 28 – Reversed Date: I mainly like this episode because the characters play a bit of dress up. What can I say, a cohesive outfit is always nice to look at!
Episode 67 – Do You Like Me?: There’s this one side character that is a serious douche, but they’re getting what they deserve!!
Episode 71 – Roommate (2): Again, this side character is finally getting recognition for how much of a douche they are!! Also, heh, the leads! The leads are so cute!!
I think this webtoon is ending soon though 😦
My suggestion is, if you want to read it, read it before it becomes daily pass! Then you can binge it at your own pace!
Happy reading!
Edit #1: The series has ended, be sure to read it now if you’re interested, else the comic will be locked by daily pass.
